I helped with Habitat this summer down in Mississippi, and it is still in desperate need of any kind of help that you can offer. I took tons of pictures that I will post that I took because they were unbelievable. They were unbelievable because it has been just about 4 ...years and it is still desolate. There are still many improvements and structures/houses that need to be built so it will be as it was before. The place I stayed at had a map of all of the people who have come down to help year by year and it has dropped tremendously, but the help they need has not dropped. The coast is just bare with what used to be driveways, houses, sidewalks, fences, and now they are literally just foundations, steps leading up to nowhere (used to be leading to the door of a house), a line of concrete with massive, deep holes in them (the former sidewalk), foundations of parking buildings, concrete resembling parking lots, and even chimneys standing by themselves without the house that used to be around them, etc. All of this is right across the new street from the ocean. It is just bare land now where beach houses and hotels used to be. Many people still do not have homes, but this cause will help solve that problem, please think about helping out...thanks.
