Give a future to the youngest victims of conflict.

Child Nurture and Relief (CHINAR) is a non-profit organization working for the psychosocial rehabilitation of orphaned and vulnerable children in conflict areas – irrespective of race, religion, culture or gender.

CHINAR Activities:
1.HOME FOR ORPHANS: For a group of orphaned children in Srinagar, Kashmir. The children are nurtured by live-in Mothers and receive quality education in good area schools. The home environment is designed to facilitate their psychological rehabilitation and successful integration into society.
2.EARTHQUAKE REHABILITATION For the victims of 2005 earthquake in two villages near Uri. We have built shelters and provided water and sanitation facilities.
3.ECONOMIC EMPOWERMENT: We are also running a skills training center for the youth affected by the earthquake and providing them training in the traditional Kashmiri craft of crewel chain-stitch work.
4.HOOPS FOR HEALTH: A basketball clinic for orphaned children in partnership with JD Walsh Basketball School.
