The Healing Our Waters – Great Lakes Coalition will join together on the shores of the Detroit River to reunite with friends, celebrate our successes, and develop new strategies to achieve our Great Lakes restoration goals in 2012 and beyond.

The early bird registration fee for the 2011 Conference is $170. This fee includes the following:

All conference materials
Field trip of your choice on Wednesday, October 12th.
Breakfast and lunch on October 13th and 14th
Poster Happy Hour
Shuttle service to and from the Detroit Metro Airport

After Sept. 1, 2011, our regular $200 registration fee goes into effect. The same day registration fee is $240. HOW does provide a one day rate and a student rate. If interested, please proceed to the registration page for more information.

Field Trip will be held on Wednesday, Oct 12th from 9 -12.

Healing Our Waters-Great Lakes Coalition Evening Reception at the Detroit Institute of Art
Note: Attendance at this event is optional and requires separate registration, accessible through the main registration portal

The Healing Our Waters – Great Lakes Coalition will host a reception at the Detroit Institute of Art, starting at 6:30pm on Wednesday October 12 and open to all. Enjoy touring DIA’s galleries while reuniting with friends. Registration for the reception is required and is accessible through the main Great Lakes restoration conference registration page. The cost for the reception is $25 per person.

HOW Conference participants interested in attending overlapping sessions of Great Lakes Week conferences for which they are not registered are welcome to do so. However, participants must eat meals only at the conference for which they are registered and paid. Other events throughout the week require separate registration. Please consider attending a special event as part of Great Lakes Week Working Together, Taking Action
A Town Hall Meeting October 12, 2011, 1-6pm Wednesday Wayne State University

To kick off our week in Detroit, the Healing Our Waters-Great Lakes Coalition is collaborating with the U.S. EPA, the International Joint Commission, and the Great Lakes Commission in a joint session on Wednesday October 12. The town hall format will provide the opportunity for public comment on pertinent Great Lakes issues and policies.

This event is unprecedented. Please plan to attend to make your voice heard on important Great Lakes issues!
