I am so glad that Life Teen was created. When I was looking to create a youth ministry I saw that Life Teen was the exact type of ministry that I wanted to create. I've jumped in with both feet ever since.

i am in the life teen choir at my parish,
and it is just definately one of the best things in my life right now!
the people that surround you in that atmosphere, are simply amazing,
and its easy to know you can count on them!

Barb, the atmosphere of lifeteen is so easy to adapt to, the homilies relate to teens like myself and also to the older people of the parish i have spoken to. Our preist is young, so he can relate and give advice to any of the teens. The music is our own, rock/pop, upbeat and easy to catch on to. I used to hate going to church because it was boring and i couldnt interact and it was early in the morning, now it is often the highlight of my week, i look forward to sharing the eucharist with my brothers and sisters in christ, and most important, I am active in the participation of the celebration of our Lord, Jesus Christ. I never really appreciated what an awesome gift the eucharist was until I went to lifeteen, and now I understand that Christ gave us the ultimate sacrafice of his body and blood, only so that we could have eternal life and be forgiven for our sins.
Erin, how is it different from the Mass I attend each week? Music? Homily? Priests? I am so curious?

Lifeteen mass is the second most powerful thing I have experienced, and the cool thing is i get to experience it every week. The most powerful thing I have experienced was Mass with Pope Bennedict, and that was incredible. Lifeteen mass is like having a second family, the people there every week are the same, with some new faces, and everyone cares about you so much. Its hard to explain the feelings, I'd go see for yourself!
