Dear Supporters,

The Paul Cortez Defense Fund is excited to roll out freepaulcortez.org v3.0! As you’ll see, the new site contains a lot of great new content and more is on the way. We are still hard at work behind the scenes, committed and dedicated to helping Paul in his fight to prove his innocence and regain his freedom. V3.0 is now much better equipped to give you a better understanding of the case waged against Paul, including factual references that show why he is innocent and solid evidence supported by actual case documents.

You will also get to know the real Paul Cortez and learn about is life, his history, his dreams and aspirations, and his amazing talents. You will come to understand Paul’s true nature on a deeper level and come away with the certain knowledge that he would never have committed the crime of which he’s been accused. Paul is eternally grateful and appreciative of the effort, interest, and concern you’ve all shown and extends his deepest gratitude to each of you.

We’ve also opened up the website to offer membership subscriptions to encourage your participation and support. There are a lot of great new features for you to enjoy and to help us grow a solid community base.

Here is a rundown of what you will find on the new site:

Free Paul Community Forums: We have upgraded our Free Paul Discussion Forum and have archived all of the pages of our old version for your convenience. Please don’t hesitate to jump right in and start seeding the 3.0 forums. There will be an Admin available to answer questions and participate with you more often than in the past. There is also a PM feature, buddy friending, and profile option so our members can build bonds in our common goal to help Paul. [Note: forum deactivated for platform updates, will be online shortly]

Free Paul Chat: We also have installed an IRC chat room and plan to host regularly scheduled chat nights to get to know you and update you on Paul’s status. Members and guests are welcome to enjoy the chat room at any time.

Messages For Paul: Many of you have asked about sending Paul letters or well wishes, so we have implemented a feature for supporters to leave messages for Paul, and the PCDF will make sure he receives your thoughts and prayers.

Activist Posts: Over the years, a growing number of bloggers have kindly published articles about Paul’s case and helped to raise awareness. Others left comments on various forms across the web in an attempt to keep Paul’s plight in the public eye. We would like to offer those of you who are inspired by Paul’s fight to have a regular place to share your thoughts, and so we bring you the Activist Post: You may submit your articles directly to Free Paul Cortez.Org and we will post it on the front page. We encourage regular submissions from supporters on any aspect of Paul’s case. As always, we appreciate your support and participation.

Coming soon, you will enjoy our Supporters Photo Wall, to which you can submit your photos and help build a community wall of support! Our PCDF store will launch in the coming future with products designed to raise awareness and generate funding to help Paul with his expenses. From time to time, we will issue Supporter Community Action Campaigns and recruit volunteers to help with some pet projects that are designed to help Paul prove his innocence once and for all.

We have made it much easier for you to find the most suitable ways to get involved, participate, and help us raise money for Paul’s defense, which is sadly well into the several hundred thousand dollar category. Every penny helps and every penny goes directly into the Defense Fund coffer. Please visit the How To Get Involved section to learn about some very helpful solutions and find one that is right for you. Meanwhile, be sure and register with the PCDF and help us build a much more powerful community and voice.
