Equality Ohio

> serves as an advocate and champion for fair treatment and equal opportunity for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender citizens;
> facilitates a greater understanding of our common humanity through education and outreach efforts;
> engages and empowers individuals, families, organizations, businesses and institutions in Ohio's urban, suburban, and rural areas; and
> collaborates with local, regional, statewide, and national organizations and government agencies.

1. LGBT Ohioans and their families should be honored and protected equally.

2. LGBT people should not fear being fired from their job because of their real or perceived sexual orientation.

3. All children deserve a chance at a loving home and safe schools.
