On March 14th 2002 i gave birth to a beautifull adorable baby boy.. i was close to 7mths pregnant and he did not make it through the birth..he had trisomy 18 it's like down syndrom but worst.. he already had a hole in his heart and 4 cysts on his tiny brain and he had a hair lip..they say that trisomy 18 babies rarely make it through the birth and if they do they don't live long... his name is Jacob and he would be 8yrs and i still see him and think bout that day often.. He was so perfect in my eyes..he had perfect nails, blond hair and eyebrows and he had his father's build.. i never got a chance to bury him i have no idea where they put him... i have this box that every year on his bday i take it out and go through it all... Jacob u will always be loved and missed each and everyday xoxoxo
Our love is shinning bright in Alberta, Canada. Remember our babies across Canada and around the world and the families they leave behind.
I was quite surprised to find such a cause...my partner and I just buried our handsome little man on Monday. We were 21 weeks into our first pregnancy together and got bad news after the 2cnd ultrasound. We were sent to St Joe's Fetal Develoment clinic in London, ON and there we received the news following yet another ultrasound that our little baby was without amniotic fluid, and therefore the lungs never developed. What was happening was lethal for our baby and nothing would change that. At week 23 they induced my labour and we delivered and 1.2 lb 11 3/4 inches beautiful little boy. We named him Brock Richard Alan Blancher and although he never survuved outside the womb we were still able to hild him, and kiss him, and tell him how much he is loved. He is the most beautiful little man our family has ever laid eyes on. We had an autopsy done so that we could have all the ossible answers. Although all DR's involved believe it is Potters Syndrome. In which case the odds of our family having to grieve another infant our slim to none. We were able to have a funeral and give our angel an identity, and proper resting grounds....He is sadly missed by myself, mommy, his daddy Jereme and his big sister Abbey...I am so grateful to find a cause that supports the loss of infants even if they were never carried to full term. God Bless You
