The Official Campaign of Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Day Canada
If you have never experienced a pregnancy loss or infant death or this is the first pregnancy or infant loss bereavement you are experiencing you may not be aware of October 15th.
October 15th is Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Day. It is a day observed annually by families, friends, and community members in the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom.
October 15th is observed as a day that families from across the world can join together in honour and remembrance of their children and to bring awareness to pregnancy loss and infant death and the impact that it has on grieving families.
October 15th promotes, Support, Education, and Awareness. It recognizes and promotes the importance of early and ongoing care and support for the 1 in 4 families who experience pregnancy loss and infant death bereavement.
You may be surprised to learn about Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Day and how few people know that it exists. In the United States families who have endured the death of a child during pregnancy and in infancy know October 15th to be Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Day, however, in Canada and other parts of the world even fewer know of its existences.

Whether you are a mom, dad, an aunt, uncle, grandparent or a sibling; everyone has a story to tell, share yours and help us make a world of difference in the lives of grieving families.
