An amazing statistic to look into is, 'how many non-indigenous people are in the NT workforce living a comfortable and wealthy lifestyle off Indigenous peoples' poor lifestyle and standard of living'...it'd be interesting to see the Indigenous stats too.... I know you'll find these statistics are shocking when weighed against the delivery of needs to the Indigenous population... that they would've assured of providing this service of delivery and assistance, when they applied or was given their job/s, in the first place. WE NEED to ask the question....."Do Non-Indigenous people want Indigenous people to live a better life?" Non-Indigenous People would be out of a job if we did live an autonomous, healthy and financially sustainable lifestyle......think about this???????? I must be fair and say..."not all Non-Indigenous people, living and working within the NT, are like this. I know of alot of Non-Indigenous people who are good at what they provide to Indigenous people......BUT, a mentorship approach is what is needed to train, support and assist Indigenous people into these supervisory and managerial postions though....this is a certainty. I just thought I'd have my say.....Cheers.

The Northern Territory and Federal Australian Governments have announced plans to stall aboriginal homeland funding and close remote communities forcing the people to move to so called Central Hub Townships.
Under the Northern Territory Intervention racial discrimination laws were suspended.
The homelands plan is racist as it applies only to aboriginal people.
It is genocide, in that studies of the homeland communities show their populations are healthier than those in other circumstances.
It is contrary to article 23 of the UN Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples;
‘Indigenous peoples have the right to determine and develop priorities and strategies for exercising their right to development. In particular indigenous peoples have the right to be actively involved in developing and determining health, housing and other economic and social programmes affecting them and, as far as possible, to administer such programmes through their own institutions.’

what mainstream Australia often fails to realise, is that the standards at which they are failing to provide for the health and education of Aboriginal Australians, are way below the standards we are accustomed to accepting in health care and schooling within our own culture
