THANK YOU! As a result of our Many Hands, we have reached our $10,000 goal! In fact, we have surpassed it by over $1000, for a grand total of $11,130.

110 donors came together through fundraisers (Chevy Chase and Evanston), in response to our newsletter, and here on Facebook providing contributions ranging from $10 up to $1000. AS A RESULT CATALYTIC COMMUNITIES HAS BEEN AWARDED AN ADDITIONAL $10,000.

Thanks to you, in 2009 we will be moving full coarse ahead to launch a multilingual, action-oriented online "Casa" -- a space to carry on the work we conducted over 5 years through our Casa community hub in Rio de Janeiro... but now available to community organizers on all corners of the globe.

We'll send out occasional updates sharing these successes with you and also calling on your involvement in a multitude of ways, including making use of new tools as we launch them, to gauge their usefulness and usability; and spreading the word, passing these tools on to others you think could benefit.

In the meantime, don't hesitate to be in touch with ideas, connections, and questions. That's what we're here for.
