Know any orphans? Sounds like a strange question but as I watched a production of “Annie” this weekend I realized that most people living in America only know an orphan through a movie, a book, or a play. We have no more orphanages in America, but we still have orphans – a half a million of them. They are the lost boys and girls of our generation, and most people will never know if they meet them. They may go to your child’s school or play on their soccer team, but to most people they are invisible. I know if you are part of our tribe that this bothers you deeply and you want to do something about it.
