About Advocates for Africa's Children

Swaziland has the highest HIV/AIDS prevalence rate (over 40% of the population) and the lowest life expectancy (only 33 years) in the world. The result of this crisis has been the deaths of thousands of parents, leaving behind more than 100,000 orphans in a country of one million people. Our heart is to empower the African Church to care for orphans and vulnerable children and to fight the HIV/AIDS pandemic. In just two years, God has blessed us with many advocates who are passionate about fighting to save the children in Africa. Your partnership, prayer and financial support make everything we do possible. Thank you for helping us share the love of Jesus Christ in such tangible ways.

1. Creating sustainable projects to provide nutrition and other needs of orphans

2. Starting irrigated vegetable farms to provide nutrition for orphans and to teach farming skills

3. Educating the local community about HIV/AIDS through trained church volunteers

4. Providing clean water through wells to improve health and disease resistance for the entire community

5. Empowering women caregivers through small business loans (in partnership with Africa Works)
