to nurture and support the marriage of a man and woman and their family life by offering an opportunity to experience a deep and loving communication with each other and with God.

Marriage/ Engaged Encounter is a weekend getaway that helps married and engaged couples rediscover themselves as individuals and as a couple. The weekend is God-centered and comes out of the roots of the Christian faith. Twin Cities Marriage/ Engaged Encounter is a non-denominational Christian experience and welcomes couples of all faiths or no faith. The organization is not connected to any particular denomination. Individual and couple spirituality are shared versus a denomination. Guided by a team of volunteer couples, each participant takes an honest look at themselves, explores their relationship with each other, their family and society. Great marriages don't just happen. Couples create them! All marriages need attention, effort and nurturing. Marriage/ Engaged Encounter provides an opportunity for you to explore your relationship together and find ways to make it more fulfilling and stronger for a lifetime. The weekend format helps couples communicate openly and honestly. There is no group sharing on a Marriage Encounter, however, there is one small group sharing on our Engaged Encounter weekend.
