Here’s a fact: Every year, teachers spend an average $1,200 of their own money on classroom supplies. That’s over $4 billion annually. The number is surprising, the reality unacceptable.

That’s why we created A Day Made Better: an annual one-day event that awards 1,000 teachers with over $1,000 in school supplies and brings awareness to their need.

Since 2007, we've surprised more than 3,500 teachers with $3.5 million in school supplies. Join us, as we work to erase teacher-funded classrooms.
