In some ways it blows my mind to look at our newest total! Over 50k!! Remarkable! Then I look at it and Im not really that suprised at all. I am involved in one of the most amazing musicians career and involved with some of the most amazing fans I have ever met! He asks and we deliver! Way to go gang!!!!
Just a shoutout to let the CFCC crew know we have a new goal for the PB/DCO donation team that honors David at Stand Up 2 Cancer. We're now at $13,200 (pumped up a bit after the prior year-end challenge because some folks donated in honor of DCTR going platinum). We're shooting to get that number up to $15,000 or more by the Virginia Beach concert on March 30, in celebration of the Declaration Tour, the end of the "first leg" of the tour (cos we think there will be more, lol), and celebration of the one year anniversary of DC winning AI.
All dollars donated at SU2C go directly to research grants for interdisciplinary "dream teams" seeking fast progress toward cures. David has endorsed SU2C (but not our specific donation team). We are excited by our continued progress in making this a significant fund.

time to take my santa suit off and put my pimp suit back on.... and since the charity chix are my fave pimping parters, had to come over here and post...
Stand Up 2 Cancer has sent out an end-of-year appeal for each of the teams to try to raise an additional $1000 by Dec. 31. Our Proverbial Box/DCO team honoring DC and "the record" is already at $5130, a truly amazing achievement. And it's Christmas, and times are hard, and budgets are tight. But the need does not end, even as charity fatigue sets in.
I encourage, plead, ask (beg?) each of you who can possibly manage it, now, to go over there, register (if you have not done so already), and make an initial or additional gift, even a nominal one, to this cause. Every $5, every $10, is significant. I'm headed over there right now to do so.

Anyone who'd like to donate via paypal or by a check instead, please PM me.

Hey all!
Welcome to all who have joined recently. As the group grows, we just wanted to make sure we explained how the announcements and emails work. We *try* to keep announcements and topics updated weekly, and will send out emails only when something BIG is happening.
How do you know if you're signed up for these special email notifications? I sent an email along with this most recent announcement, so if you didn't receive an email, you're not signed up. If you'd like to sign up:
1. Scroll to the very top of the Facebook page. There is a button called "settings" on the right (in between your name and logout). Click on this settings button.
2. You will see a page called "My Account " with various tabs at the top. Go to the third tab- "Notifications" and click it.
3. This takes you to the set up page for your email notifications. Scroll down to the bottom, where you will find a grouping called "Other Applications". Depending on how many apps you have, you might have to click the "show me more" option.
4. Find 'Causes' and click the 'ON' option. It will turn green to let you know it registered.
5.. Click 'Save Changes' at the bottom, and enjoy your emails from CFCC :)
