Just got paid, gotta show some love to MD Anderson... every little bit counts. Thank you MD Anderson for taking such good care of my mom when she was there, I will never forget you on payday.
One of my greatest friends died just recently with a rare form of kidney cancer, he was like a brother to me, I knew him for just over 2 years and we were extremely close. He was on Torisel for his cancer, but tragically he lost his fight just before Christmas. RIP David Holland, you are my guardian angel and I thank God that you were a part of my life. I love you.
My Mother was diagnosed with Lymphoma when i was 11.. she is still alive thanks to MD Anderson!.. im now 49 and live right next door to my wonderful mom!!!!..
This is the hospital my Dad was in that gave him back his hope for life...short lived but still a real gift!

My bride of 15 years this past year is one of the strongest persons that I’ve ever been around that has dealt with her breast cancer HR+ for 21 years this past November.
Margie was one of the very first women in November 1988 to have a double mastectomy, double tram flap & tummy tuck done all at the same surgery. She had 4 treatments of FACT (Red Devil) could go no more and stopped the treatments.
She was in remission for 8 years, divorced her first hubby, we got married, yea a guy marring a woman after that type of surgery. The evening we put my mother in her grave her cancer (primary) reoccurred in her lymph nodes in her neck, we knew what it was.
Well let me say one thing, this was my soul mate and when god took a rib from Adam for Eve, when he matched us it was from my spine, because with out her I would be one lost goose.
After tests were done her Mets, had gone to her spine in 3 different locations and of course the lymphatic system. Needless to say she finished her 5 other Red Devil Treatments... Well between radiation all types of hormone blockers calcium enhancers, full hysterectomy and the such here 13 years later stage 4 Mets, an additional several liver Mets but still taking oral chemo. Not eligible for protocol, or any of the latest new drugs, because of her being on more than several different chemos’ already, I think it’s all about all the toxins that are in her already, What ever it is she isn’t sick at all much, she just has the Stage 4 Cancer, and we have to joke about that at times…
She is still walking around and if you didn’t know she even had cancer it would blow you away with her sprit... this is my angel a miracle angle and although we are both disabled and have spent all our savings and own bills still I can say MD Anderson is the ONLY reason my soul mate is alive, & for that I will gladly owe my eternal service to.
I can't donate money but I can attempt to help in any way that I can... We are realist and understand what life and love really is and after 30 years on a job making 100k a year, then being totally disabled myself we have realized that
IT'S NOT ALL ABOUT MONEY...
THANK YOU MD ANDERSON, YOUR PERSONEL WHICH IS THE BEST IN EVERY ASPECT... I APPLAUDE YOUR FACILITY AND YOUR EMPLOIEES...
MD Anderson is my " House of Hope"! I feel blessed that I got to have MD as my home away from home. It not only saved my life....more importantly it changed my life. It reminded me of how precious life is and that I should be grateful for all of the little things and most of the time the big things just don't matter!

My dad was there during the winter of 90-91. He was diagnosed with a form of non cancerous lukiemia. His bone marrow died. Sadly by the time the bone marrow doner was found and the surgery completed, he started looking and doing better, then the pneumonia sert in and wouldn't let go. They did everything poible for him. I support the research and hard work done at this hospital.
