Hi Everyone, This is going to be fun!
I'm really looking forward to making a lot of noise with a few thousand of my closest friends on Nov. 3rd in order to get these elected leaders of ours to represent us on this critical issue.
Global warming is quite possibly the biggest things we as humans have ever done and if we don't make some fundamental change - like, NOW! - we'll face a very different and much less friendly world in the near future.
Big, positive change has always come from the bottom up (think civil rights). So that means it's up to us as students, as young people, as ordinary citizens to make it happen.
This Facebook app is a great way to build the movement...each of us should be sure to invite at least 10 friends every day.
If you haven't yet go to stepitup2007.org to find out about all the sweet events from last year, what people are planning for this year, and sign up for the e-mail updates with the form in the top right corner.
