TEACHING CHARACTER

“Knowledge + Skills – Character = Failure”

News headlines affirm the truth of this equation. “Successful” leaders, businesses, and governments are all exposed to corruption on a daily basis. We cannot underestimate the importance of character, nor can we deny the rapid decline of its presence in our world today. At the same time, almost one-third of the world’s population is under the age of 15—a crucial period when lifelong values, perspectives, and attitudes are formed and decisions for Christ are made.

Our focus is to transform today’s leaders and enable tomorrow’s generations. MTC is responding to this dilemma by caring for and cultivating Christlike character in children—especially those at risk.

MTC's subsidiary, Character Solutions® International (CSI), focuses on the development of ten character qualities essential to personal responsibility and interpersonal respect, each a vital and Biblical component of healthy societies. These values are taught internationally through seminars to educators and other community leaders using our character-cultivating curriculum.

COMBATING POVERTY

MTC works with international ministry partners to provide valuable assistance—food, shelter, education, medical attention, Bible teaching, and counseling—to needy children and orphans in over 18 countries. We also help support special projects, such as care packages for lepers, food programs for needy neighborhoods overseas, youth development opportunities, and ongoing orphanage sponsorships.

1. Build and strengthen character among children and the adults who influence them.

2. Care for at-risk kids internationally by providing food, shelter, education, and Bible teaching.

3. Enable leaders, teachers, and parents to integrate character education into their local families, schools, and communities.

4. Add to your faith > goodness > knowledge > self-control > perseverance> godliness > brotherly kindness > love.

5. For if you possess these qualities in increasing measure, they will keep you from being unproductive in your knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.
