Recent Cause Activity
I joined this cause in memory of my sister who died in 1999 from complications related to a boating accident. I want to increase awareness of boating safety while advocating implementation of our local boating safety laws here in East Tennessee. The laws are in place. Unfortunately, enforcement of those laws is difficult. We need to increase awareness of the dangers on the waterways, as well as the importance of boating safety. These water vehicles are not toys. They are potentially deadly when not operated safely.
