Are you a person who believes that all people deserve respect, dignity, and equal treatment under the law? If so, make you sure your next meal isn't from Chick-fil-A!
The fast food company is quickly becoming known for more than just their spicy chicken sandwiches as their nonprofit arm, the WinShape Foundation, continues to funnel millions of dollars to anti-gay groups. These donations include:
- $480,000 to Fellowship of Christian Athletes (who openly denounce the "impure lifestyle" of LGBT Americans)
-$12,500 to Focus on the Family (who once warned Americans,"[T]he homosexual agenda is a beast")
-$1,000 to Exodus International (who promotes the unsafe practice of ex-gay therapy)
To make matters worse, Chick-fil-A's own President, Dan Cathy, openly stands "guilty as charged" of running an anti-LGBT company.
Here's our message to Chick-fil-A:
As customers, we can no longer stomach your intolerance and disrespect for countless LGBT citizens. We demand that you, Chick-fil-A, immediately sever ties with these homophobic organizations. Until your company's values reflect the freedoms and dignities that all American citizens are due, we will no longer eat at Chick-fil-A!

Posted by Melanie Hubert (Campaign Leader) on Jul 20, 2012If you've signed this petition and would like to go even further in your efforts I would like to encourage anyone who is able to make a small contribution to GLAAD (Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation) an organization that promotes understanding, increases acceptances and advances equality. Everyone deserves to love, be loved, and be accepted. Remember that "No matter what your sexual orientation without love we are not truly living" and "We are all the best versions of yourselves...

In less than 24 hours we've managed to recruit over 2000 people to this cause that's absolutely incredible but let's not stop here. I would like to ask encourage all of you to do the following:Click the "Invite Friends" button on this page and invite as many friends as you can.
