**Please Help Save Our Children's Center**

I personally have been using the woodthorpe childrens center for the last 6 years now my kids have grown with them and they have helped me personally with support through everything. 

On Wednesday 27th Feb 2013 the proposals from the local authority with regard to the early years review were approved at the cabinet meeting and ratified at the full council's budget meeting friday 1st march 2013.

As a direct result of this ruling, manor and castle development trust will no longer recieve a grant or subsidy to assist with the delivery of childcare and education at woodthorpe children's center (sunshine preschool). This means we will have to withdraw our preschool services from the 29th of march 2013. despite every effort to make up the short fall, the gap is too great with too short time frame to manage with what is in effect a 100% cut.
