Are you saved?

Some people only want to accept JESUS as their SAVIOR, but not as LORD of their lives. The reason why they only want JESUS as their SAVIOR is because they only want to be assured of Heaven... that's all! In the real sense, maybe they don't really want JESUS to be their LORD, or maybe they are not ready to surrender their lives to HIM yet...

JESUS is our LORD & we are HIS servants, HIS followers. When we make JESUS the LORD of our lives, we surrender everything to HIM, & HE becomes our "Boss." We also get transformed, & we start obeying ALL that HE tells & wants us to do. We become better people, we become respectful to HIM & to human authorities, we become loving people, & a lot more changes. Actually, this is the only way we can prove & show our love to HIM, when we start obeying ALL that HE tells us to do (John 14:23), as HE is Spirit & we don't feel or see HIM, so it would be super hard & impossible to express & show our love to a GOD that we don't see (John 4:24).

Obeying JESUS would be hard to do & even impossible to follow, if we don't have HIS Holy Spirit. We need to have the HOLY SPIRIT residing in our hearts for us to fully understand HIS will for us.

For us to be able to go to Heaven, we need to invite JESUS as our SAVIOR & LORD. HE is knocking at the door of our hearts now & HE's asking, "Behold, I stand at the door & knock: if anyone hears my voice & opens the door, I will come in & eat with that person, & they with me" (Revelation 3:20). Once we open the doors of our hearts & accept HIM, the Holy Spirit then will reside & be sealed into our hearts (Ephesians 1:13). But before we can invite JESUS into our lives, we need to realize & acknowledge our being a big time sinner (Romans 6:23). If you say you're a good person & you claim you don't sin, & believe you don't need a Savior, because of your self-righteousness... then there's nothing I can do about it... but if you sincerely & humbly realize that you're a big time sinner & that you need a Savior to save you from your sins, then you're on the right track. You need to really humble yourself & go down on your knees before GOD. If you sincerely trust & believe that JESUS is the only Savior that can save you... then pray this simple prayer of acceptance :

"Lord JESUS, I know that I'm a SINNER & I also know that I cannot save myself from the penalty of sin. I acknowledge that I have broken YOUR laws & my sins have separated me from YOU. I am truly sorry & I want to turn away from my past sinful life toward YOU. Please forgive me & help me avoid sinning again. I believe that YOU died for my sins, resurrected from the dead, is alive, & hears my prayer. I now invite YOU to become my SAVIOR & LORD of my life, to rule & reign in my life, from this day forward. Please send your HOLY SPIRIT to help me obey & to do YOUR will in my life now. In YOUR Name I pray, Amen."

Where is JESUS now?

Remember, religion will not bring us to Heaven... it will not save us. Many people are very religious but they have never been saved. Being good & going to church every Sunday is not salvation. Salvation is believing & receiving CHRIST as our own SAVIOR. When we do this, we become BORN AGAIN. When we were born into our parents' family, we received natural life... when we were born into GOD's family, we receive Spiritual life. This makes us children of GOD, too (John 1:12).

"... Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation" (2 Corinthians 6:2). Tomorrow may be too late! Accept JESUS as your SAVIOR & LORD now!
