Please donate to So Others Might Eat (SOME) on my website. SOME feeds and clothes the homeless in DC. It also provides job training and medical treatment for the homeless and poor. SOME received a 4 star rating on Charity Navigator, the highest possible rating, meaning the organization "exceeds industry standards and outperforms most charities in its cause." In 2011, SOME provided 248,205 hot nutritious meals for hungry children, women, and men in DC as well as shelter and housing for 196 children. Unfortunately, homelessness is currently an acute problem in DC, as described in this Washington Post article.
