The petitioners request that any county road be re-named or dual named to Gary Morales Memorial HWY in honor of Sergeant Gary Morales' ultimate sacrifice.

St. Lucie County Sheriff's Office Sergeant Gary Morales was shot and killed on 2/28/13 during a traffic stop. Sgt. Morales gave the ultimate sacrifice to serve and protect his community.    ***UPDATE*** I received an email today from County Administrator Faye Outlaw regarding the petition request: "The Board has not yet discussed the petition request. It is on the agenda for discussion at the Board's June informal meeting which will be held June 12th at 9 am at the Fenn Center."Please mark your calendars if you would like to come to the meeting. I also encourage you to contact your county commissioner and express your desire to see a road name the Gary Morales Memorial HWY....
