the office PRESIDENT IS PAID TOO MUCH. THEY SPEND MILLIONS TOO GET IN OFFICE THEN THEY GET ALL EXPENSPAID BY THE PUBLIC YOU AND ME. THE SENET AND THE HOUSE GIVE THEMSELVES 20% PLUS PAY RAISES AND GIVE US 1.7%PAY RAISES AREn't WE WORTHY OF A BIGGER PAY RAISE.ON TOP OF THIS WHEN WE GET A PAY RAISE OUR TAXES GO UP OUR INSURANCE GOS UP 4100.00 plus and on and on. You've gotten raises?? We haven't gotten one in over 3 years?? Our Health Insurance just upped it's out-of-pocket costs and my husbands employer decided to shut down instead of pay out the nose for Obamacare. Meanwhile....back at the ranch....we get to pay taxes next year on any Health Insurance paid costs by our employers, if my husband gets one that supplies Health Insurance~!! Thanks Obama!!
I hear you Diana. I'm a nurse and after 5 years with no raise because of increasing healthcare premiums and people dropping coverage; employers closing up and/or laying off; gas prices skyrocketing; my husband's employer having to increase the employee share of premiums and then we have to pay taxes on the employer's share; it's to the point it isn't worth me working anymore, I retired. It's crazy; I'm not working 60 hours a week to support a deadbeat. My husband is 70 this year and I wish he'd retire. It seems you work for nothing. We're raising a granddaughter and that is why we continued working so long but when they make laws that make it harder for the working person to work and bring home a decent paycheck........doesn't make sense. It's all about the VOTE.
I'm not sure about the President, but I am sure about the congress and senate. Not only should their salaries be radically reduced, but their terms of office should be max of two terms, all their perks should be cut out and they should have to pay into their own healthcare, just like the rest of us. Their retirement should be taken away, since they're doing that or helping big business take all of ours a way.
Keith Wurster The Campaign Funds that they use to run for office is donations and fund raisers; very little comes out of their pockets. The regulations on campaign funds is strict but they manage to break those laws as well.
I believe the president is acting more like a dictator to the people instead a servant to the people.....The people put him in office and the people can take him out of office .....
I think they should be cut' To min' wage, The best way I know' to clean that rat hole out.
They are Not being held to the same accountability as the rest of us, And, they're NOT earning what they're already getting... Just my unhumble opinion...
And just think about the benefits they get.They are already millionaires.
start now to limit pay raises let them pay there own way on vacation and every day expense
Every single one of them should suffer as we do..they are there for us an all they are doing is screwing the people not for the people...
