Ms. Liberatore,

You scheduled an interview with Megan Masters, a Pit Bull advocate, and rescue volunteer for March 1st 2013. It was always understood that Mrs. Masters would be speaking on the true nature of Pit Bulls. After scheduling the interview you asked Mrs. Masters for "talking points" to help guide the interview. Once she sent her talking points statin that she wanted to state facts and statistics about the Pit Bull breed, as well as speaking about a local dog fighting ring and he rehab and rehoming process for the dogs involved you emailed back statng you wanted to cancel the interview. You stated you wanted to cancel because you already have a pet segment on your show. You knew this when you contacted Mrs. Masters to do the interview. Pit Bulls are being discrimimated against and killed because of inaccurate information being spread about them in the media. This was your networks chance to set yourself apart. It's sad that your network chooses to continue to spread lies about the breed, and tries to silence those who want to speak the truth. Please do the right thing for these innocent animals and allow Mrs. Masters to do her interview, and bring one of the Pit Bulls with her that she is trying to save.

Pit Bulls are being discriminated against every day, because of false opinions spread by the media. Pit Bulls do not have "locking jaws". They are not more agressive than other breeds. They actually score in the top 4 in national temperment tests. Pit Bulls were also orignally bred to be nanny dogs, and are wonderful with kids. If we continue to allow the media to spread false informaiton about this breed we contribute to the deaths of innocent dogs.
