The National Federation of Families for Children's Mental Health is a 501(c)3, national family focused organization linking more than 120 chapters and state organizations focused on the issues and rights of children and youth with emotional, behavioral, or mental health needs and their families. We collaborate with family run and other child serving organizations with a mission to eradicate stigma and transform mental health care in America.

The first full week of May each year is nationally recognized as Children's Mental Health Awareness Week (CMHAW). This year, during CMHAW, May 5-11, 2013 the National Federation's awareness and educational efforts will be on full tilt as will execute various awareness activities and initiatives through our anti-stigma campaign, Out of Shadows:Exposing Stigma! The National Federation realizes that while access to services and support is critical to the health and well-being of our nation, it is equally important to debunk myths and address the stigma that deters those in need from seeking consistent help.

We cannot do this alone. We are nothing without our supporters, like you. We need your help to continue our mission to advocate, educate our nation and support children, youth and families. Please consider sponsoring Children's Mental Health Awareness Week and the National Federation of Families for Children's Mental Health's mission. Your contribution will enable the National Federation of Families to continue our fight for the inclusion and rights families deserve.

The National Federation of Families for Children's Mental Health looks forward to partnering with you on this important and vital campaign.
