To: Esther McVey MP UK Minister for Disabled People

For too long now the rich and super rich of the UK have been allowed to milk the benefits system when they have no financial need to claim them. They only claim them because they can. Poverty to so many of these people is not being able to have an extra holiday in a year or upgrade the Mercedes. Yes, a disabled child can mean extra expenses to a family, I am not disputing that. What I am disputing is when parents can clearly afford to pay for their disabled child's upbringing, without becoming poverty stricken, yet they still insist on receiving non means tested benefits just because they are available to them. In these days of financial disaster, it is financial lunacy to allow this to go on. Please support this petition to get the perspective of benefit abuse correct and make it right.

Update #1

This petition needs to be shared and shared again. Don't be scared of drumming the message home to the people you know. I'm sure that they have a sense of justice which will lead them to see that millions of British Pounds Sterling are being wasted through those who don't have a financial need for certain benefits claiming them just because they can. It's almost 10 years since Morrisons took over Safeway here in the UK....
