Australia Post Listened!! They changed the policy x x x

Can you imagine...

your partner getting more and more violent.. and then the day when it all explodes, he has a hand one hand squeezing your throat... he's got a gun...  it is pressed against your head and he is screaming into your face... all you can think is .... where are the kids... where are the kids?

.....you see your eldest slink past the kitchen door and you just pray like hell he tells the other kids to run! Run! RUN!

you've lost track of what the drunk bastard is saying... he just goes on and on and on and on.... somehow, you convince him he needs coffee and he relaxes the grip and lets you make him one...

you make a break for it - out the back door and go running into the night. Desperately trying to excape his screaming chase... desperately trying to reconnect with your kids.

you find somewhere to stay and the first thing you do - once you can think straight again... is set up a redirection for youir mail... you need your parenting benefit and medicare details, bank accounts, drivers licence so that you can start to set up safely.. with the kids... and make a new life.

Now, Australia Post will do all that for you, but what they don't tell you is that they will then send A security letter to the place you left which. All the person has to do is know your date of birth a be able to guess where things are going to and they  can change all the details to what ever they want.

According to Australia Post, this system is designed to protect people from ID theft???

So ladies and Gentlemen, yes, if your partner is going to try to kill you, you have to give Australia post 4 days notice in writing... before the event,so that they can send the letter to you.... obviously... he might just open the mail for you and will know you are trying to escape..
