We Demand A Plan to End Crime and Gun Violence – NOW! As of February 18th 2013, there has been 58 reported homicides in Trinidad and Tobago in just 48 days. Many of these homicides are as a result of shootings.

This is a tragedy beyond comprehension and an indication of the state of this country and how much we have regressed in values and respect for human life. Our thoughts and prayers continue to be with the victims, their loved ones and the communities affected and that has been shattered by these horrific acts of violence. "We can't tolerate this anymore.

These incidences of GUN VIOLENCE and CRIME must end. And to end them we must demand action and we all must change.  We need bipartisan action by all our members of parliament  (upper and lower house) not just from the Minister of National Security.

The shootings and killing of members of our society affect us all. We don't know if the next victim is someone we know and love. We must demand of those we have "employed" to govern to stop and realise that Trinidad and Tobago needs a comprehensive plan to save our society.

Working together all Parliamentarians, can bring about a meaningful, common sense approach to resolve this issue. Please sign and share this petition with as many of your family and friends as possible. We need to show that there is a large movement of people, of Trinbagoians coming together to DEMAND A PLAN!
