--Devastating News!!!--
"The DNR now wants to allow hounders to 'train' their dogs on wolves with no restrictions right through the breeding, denning, and birthing seasons until the end of March. When pregnant females need to be preparing for the birth of their litters they will be harassed or even attacked by unlimited packs of vicious dogs. The fine print reads that they can "only" use packs of "six" dogs at a time to "train"but that they can switch out to new packs of dogs if the original pack gets tired. So essentially unlimited dogs will be allowed to go after wolves during this very sensitive time. The DNR even has the gall to call this a "'easonable fair-chase restriction."'"
This is outrageous! In less than a month Wisconsin may be hunting and killing wolves/pregnant wolves/and possibly wolf cubs- with no restrictions! Please take action!

"Natural Resources Board Hearing Gets Heated
Despite massive public outcry the Natural Resources Board voted unanimously to continue the permeant "rule" making procedure for the use of wolves against dogs. They also decided not to consider any more "rules" for hounders at this time. One hounder representative even had the gall to act as though placing rules on their sadistic "sport" was... -

Update #1

We have only until 2/22/13 (Wisconsin time!- it may be a different time zone from you!) to submit our comments. Its heart breaking that the recent proposals for Section 2B1 have no listed quota on the number of wolves allowed to be killed during Marches training season. Don't believe me? See for yourself: http://dnr.wi.gov/About/NRB/2013/February/02-13-2B1.pdf
No quota on the number of wolves allowed to be killed during training means that their numbers can easily be...
