All animals deserved and must be protected by society and its laws. Strict animal welfare laws must be implemented and enforced. All animal abusers must be charged and put on a register. People must change their behaviours and educate themselves about caring for their animals. Ignorance is no excuse. Basically you protect them like your children. A shift in culture is imperative to overcome the hatred for animals in the past. A new generation must make the changes in keeping with an intelligent world 's expectations.
