Send a Valentine Today to the Families of Sandy Hook
- Posted to Sandy Hook Promise
10,496 people took a pledge
Valentine's Day marked the two-month anniversary of the tragic shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, CT that took the lives of 20 first graders and six educators. As we celebrate those we love this year this week, please join people everywhere in sending a "Virtual Valentine" today to the families of those lost by visiting: http://1MillionHearts.SandyHookPromise.org. Then share this with friends!
It's really wonderful! Also post a message of support on social media with the hashtag #1MillionHearts.
Sandy Hook Promise, the grassroots organization formed by Newtown friends and neighbors in the days following the tragedy, created #1MillionHearts for Newtown as a way to honor the lives lost, and help the community and nation to heal. The campaign allows participants to send virtual Valentines as a way of pledging their support.

Update #1
Posted by David Paine (Campaign Leader) on Feb 17Hi,
Thanks. You were one of more than 9,300 people who pledged to send virtual valentines to the families of the Sandy Hook victims this year. We are very near to our goal of 10,000. If you can, please share with a few 10-25 more friends so that we can reach our milestone. My best wishes,
David
