Clyde is a lovable, hyper ball of energy that has been sentenced to either live a life of penitentiary--imprisoned in an 8 by 8 chain enclosure and forced to wear a muzzle--or be put to death for a minor, misunderstood incident. Please sign this petition to help overturn the drastic and unjust court ruling.

Update #4
Posted by Kathi Elam Norris (Campaign Leader) on Mar 26**CLYDE UPDATE** First of all, we want to Thank every person that has signed, shared, and donated to Clyde's cause. BAD NEWS!!! CLYDE AND HIS GRANDPA WERE RECENTLY ATTACKED BY TWO STRAY DOGS WHILE TAKING A WALK! Because the city of Benton declared Clyde a dangerous dog due to a minor scuffle with another dog, he has to be muzzled any time he is outside his home. Not only has the city taken away his freedom, but also his ability to defend himself! Clyde's leg was ripped open during the...

Update #2
Posted by Jonathan James Berkshire (Campaign Leader) on Mar 2Please help me with legal costs in my fight for Clyde's freedom. You do not have to donate a lot, if everyone donates at least 1 dollar it will be more than enough for me to pay for legal expenses. Any left over donations will go toward animal rights organizations.
Please and thank you!

Update #1
Posted by Jonathan James Berkshire (Campaign Leader) on Feb 6Clyde is my adorable ball of energy that is now destined to die due to the rash actions of the Saline County Arkansas court systems. He was involved in one incident, wherein he was involved in an altercation with another dog. The family of the other dog and the Saline County courts incriminated Clyde and wanted him to die. They deemed him vicious and perpetuated Clyde as a murderous pit bull -- which he is not!!! In truth, Clyde is a hyper, lovable, yet anxious character....

The smart thing to do would have been to tell the courts you put Clyde down yourself while keeping him in a safe place for a while.
Dominik Hajduk "perjury in court which is punishable by solitary confinement." Solitary confinement is a means of control or punishment within a penal system, not a punishment one can be sentenced to in court. "They will find out if the dog is still alive or not." Gratuitous assertion on your part. They may, or they may not. Determining factors are how well you hide your dog's tracks, and how determined authorities are to prove otherwise. Even if they suspect you have shuffled the dog off to safety, they have to prove it before charging you with perjury. Hate to break it to you, but that is not a high priority crime they are going to devote much resources to it. If you have done your job well, something like that can be next to impossible to prove. Even if you were caught, perjury can still be difficult to prove depending on what you told the court, and even if you were convicted, a person with no criminal record motivated by saving their dog is looking a probation, or a very short time in county jail, a small risk many people would take for their loved ones. You may call it a stupid idea, but I've seen it work several times. Dog just disappeared.
Only problem is that Judge/Court would ask for Certificate of Death/Euthanization or Payment Receipt or Something, from the location where dog was "supposedly" put down, as PROOF. Otherwise Mark, I do agree with u that we have a SEVERELY FLAWED JUSTICE SYSTEM !! & I would think about hiding my dog too..!
Je souhaite tout le bonheur du monde à CLYDE <3
They'd have to kill me to kill my pet.
Me too. I am so tired of hearing how vicious Pitbull's are. Dog bites happen every day, the only ones the media publicizes are the ones involving Pitbull's. I was mauled and nearly killed by a Great Dane as a teenager. The dog later tore off a child's ear before being euthanized. Nobody hears about that stuff and it happens EVERY DAY!!!
I TOO WAS ATTACTED BY A DOG. IT HAPPENS BUT IT DOESN'T MEAN ALL ARE THAT WAY ANIMALS HAVE BAD DAY JUST LIKE PEOPLE.
Any dog that attacks a person or another animal should be put down.
He was judged unjustly prob cuz so
E moron saw oh pit and didn't even hear whole story that's how so many Animal are Banned and killed just look at the Euth. LIST FOR NYCACC IF YOU DOUGHT THIS AS TRUTH PLEASE GET ALL THE FACTS BEFORE YOU JUDGE (ANY ANIMAL) THANK YOU :-)
Let Clyde Go be with his Family.
I signed and also voted to save Norman the other dog too. I think all animals deserve a chance because they only act out of instinct, while nothing beats the cruelty of man. By the way, if anyone wants to help make a change, please vote at http://www.stopvivisection.eu/ the general petition against animal testing and vivisection.

Then the dam courts better sentence all human race to death if we all screw up just once..... people need to check themselves because god spelled backwards is god... and god made animals and all creatures of the world before he made humans. such unjust and cold world.. people if the courts should send justifyable verdicts. just because clyde is a dog doesn't mean hes less... besides a dog is and has ture undontional love for alll human race, which clyde can teach us and we need to learn from.
if anybody wanted to kill my pet I'd die in a line of fire...wtf dam straight I would my ar15 is loaded and ready...and so am i..end of story I rest my case.
Good luck mister!! Doing it right is tough, without others making it tougher...and some folks are awfully quick to judge! As I'm sure you see! Take care!

My dogs, who are brother and sister, always "scuffle" with one another. When they were pups they never got to learn this very natural instinct from their mom, who often times teaches her pups when to stop and when it is getting out of hand. They have had to learn this on their own. There has been blood, bites, yipes, and sad puppies! But they don't do it to hurt one another. They do it because it is a dogs natural instinct to "hunt" and attack. And I use "attack" very loosely. These...

They have had to learn this on their own. There has been blood, bites, yipes, and sad puppies! But they don't do it to hurt one another. They do it because it is a dogs natural instinct to "hunt" and attack. And I use "attack" very loosely. These pups share a crate and do everything together. And both of them are very gentle and loving with humans. My kids and myself can play with them why they are eating in their dog dish, grab them, wrestle them, so on, and all they do is give affection and play back. I think what happens is some people do not realize that "dogs will be dogs" no matter how much you try to humanize them. The natural instincts will always be there. GOOD LUCK!
