We, the people who pay the taxes to you, our public servant, hereby request that the lands of our Konohiki promptly be returned to their rightful owner.  The state of Hawaii has no clear titles to these lands and any structure built upon those lands is an illegal crime of war against the inherent rights of the Kanaka Maoli.

The forceful and unlawful eviction of Abel Simeona Lui was an inhumane act of of violent nature and aside from the multiple International Laws that were broken, your team has also violated human rights with threats of violence, disregarded civil codes, and squatter's rights.

For a corporation such as the state of Hawaii to break such laws, then impose ridiculous fees to our already high taxes, violates the rights of all taxpayers who are effected by your decision to pay a caretaker for this land with our money, is dead wrong and we are against it.  This is a serious violation of our human rights to have our tax dollars spent on your silly corporate greed, when our education system is failing our youth.

We petition you to return the property to its inherent owner, Abel Simeona Lui and to include his voice on any decisions regarding the said property.

Signers:  We urge you to call Steve Wilhelm at: (808) 961-8441 and send in your written statements of disapproval to:  swilhelm@co.hawaii.hi.us

How many of us would like to see Abel Simeona displace for a new tourist attraction?

We all know that the economy is taking a nose dive, so what was the point in the unlawfully forceful eviction of Unko Abel from the property in Kawa'a?  Do you want your tax dollars to be spent 3x's at the exact same time?  1-paying for the costs of fighting Unko Abel, 2- costs to manage the said property and 3- to continue to help others not go through this and the costs of helping our people.

Wouldn't it be much more beneficial to everyone, whether a supporting Kanaka Maoli or a de facto sheeple, to return the land to its rightful owner and Konohiki?

Sad news in Kawa'a today, as word gets around that the police destroyed the remains of Unko Abel's home and belongings.  Please join us in a brief moment of chanting, prayer or meditation as we sadly move on to taking the next step in this battle.  Photos to come soon, but right now we are dealing with the emotional pain and stresses of watching our ohana suffer at the hands of greed mongrels who don't care who they hurt, as long as they can steal all that we have.  What they don't realize...

For any entity to remove a Kahu from Hawaiian Lands is an act of war. Our People have chosen the peaceful path yet there are people who are so set on taking more away from the Hawaiian People...this is a classic example. NO...this is NOT a "TOURIST ATTRACTION..." THIS is a Kupuna & a Kahu...if you have so much as 1% of Hawaiian Blood flowing through your veins then please SHOW SOME RESPECT!

Amen brother...I of polynesian descent myself believe that I am 100% Hawaiian and pray that all HAWAIIANS get there land back and this does not need to include me..I just feel for the Hawaiians and the wrongful acts that has and still going on...Whether these so called AMERICANS want to believe it or not they have stolen everything under their name!!

Is there nothing left sacred? Do we have to destroy the entire planet in order to realize what we have? For being the "smartest" animals on the planet, we are so STUPID to let this happen! Smarten up people!

This is so true!!!

For as long as I have known him...which goes back to OP (O`ahu Prison) Abel has been a "Caretaker" ("Kahu') therefore his removal from the Land was just plain WRONG!

Keep sharing this petition and it WILL reach its goal!

This is NO different than the fight to relocate the people from Oahu who were banished to the Leprosy colony, yet managed to survive when a cure was found. They returned to a promised home on Oahu "for life'. To remain as brothers & sisters, family to each other in one home for the 'remainder of their natural lives'. Only to be displaced and sent to Nursing homes because their valuable land was desired for "growth'!
Its a promise broken, an injustice of the Law!! Return this man to his home land NOW!
