Our friends at Action Aid for Animals (Romania Animal Aid, UK) have entered the One Click contest, which will allow them to possibly win funds to purchase supplies and food to distribute in Romania. Action Aid for Animals is a great charity from the UK who have adopted hundreds of puppies and dogs into wonderful homes, as well as purchasing and transporting thousands of pounds of food and supplies from the UK to Romania to help the animals. Romania it appears has lots of problems with animals.........hope the groups helping in that country can make progress. I'm thinking of you here in the USA where we have lots of problems too.
yup, we do have lots of problems here too Bonnie. But there are so many good groups helping in the USA, information on television, etc, programs. Romania was never in the position to get this type of help, that's why international charities moved in to help those animals as well. The animals were suffering too much in Romania for us not to go there and help.
Unfortunatelt Romania IS NOT THE ONLY country with such problems. SERBIA and the UKRAINE have no less dogs and cats, and they get killed on the streets of thier cities, in spite of the volunteers that help in every way they can, with the little funds they have!!! What they need now is SHELTERS where to keep as many animals as possible, to protect them from dog and cat hunters.
But they have NO FUNDS.....!!!
Action for animals? YES!
