Help spread the word about this video.I am asking all those who have some sense of respect, not only for religion and the beliefs of a large group of people, but also a sense of respect for a historical figure's life and death. [If you argue that Jesus was not real just because of the Bible, read up on Flavis Josephus' Antiquities of the Jews (written around 93–94 A), Publius (or Gaius) Cornelius Tacitus' Annals (written ca. 116 AD), and the Tannaitic reference to the trial and death of Jesus (referred to as Sanhedrin 43a) at Passover in the Talmud. Even though the first two historians hated Jesus Christ and His followers, they still mention Him in their historical texts.]
They did this to Mohammad, and now they are doing it to Jesus in a far worse manner. All Christians need not hesitate in voicing their beliefs. Let us make this peaceful protest against this out right insult to our Lord Jesus Christ.
I also ask our non-Christian brothers and sisters to please join in supporting us in this effort, as it is also an effort to ensure that nobody pokes fun at a real person's torture and torment, for if they make fun of the suffering of great historical leaders, they will also make fun at the death of other innocents.

This quote is the wisdom of Jesus Christ. Although those who would persecute Christ and his followers only prove him right, this is not something we should allow young people to see, as it can desensitize them to the suffering of others.

Here is the problem.... People like this Pep character, amongst other naysayers, try to rationalize the existence of God. There are many, many, many examples of things situations like this.

I'm agnostic though, so your assumption of me trying to rationalize the in-existence of a god falls flat immediately.

I'm not a fan of censorship. I am a fan of respect. Even when I disagree with someone I show them respect. That is why I signed this and that is all I'm asking. I would like the same respect shown to my beliefs that they expect for theirs.
You did the smart thing and just changed the channel instead of watching it through, getting offended and trying to get it banned. For that you are above most of the people here in my eyes, its actually surprising how many smart christians there are in this thread; my bias stems from another where i swear I was the only one who had any logic. Plus us having to pay for the crap like this that we don't want to watch. Its sad cause I will keep...

Brandy, you do get to pick your channels, simply do not tune into the ones you disagree with. if people would learn to ignore things, there would be less arguing going on.
