The recognition of Humanity Initiative
- Posted to The Recognition of Humanity Init… by Antwion Butler
To: Local legislators
The term person is vaguely defined in local ordinances, as it relates to human beings. "Person" should be defined as any human being, from their biological beginning until their natural death. As a signer of this petition, I will reserve my vote for candidates that agree to sponsor or cosponsor this legislation.

Someday human abortion will be abolished in America. In order for this to happen, the law must recognize the pre-born as persons. Let your local legislators know you support this action with your signature.

This is waste of the governments time. You want sound foreign policy and some more money in your paycheck. Just like you prioritize at work and home, and this is off the list.
Matt. just curious...did you think this up on your own...or was it some former slave owner or Nazi Jew hater that you're quoting here?
I'd be opposed to abortion even if the Constitution were silent on the matter. But the Constitution is not silent. The 14th Amendment is pretty clear that no person shall be deprived of their life without due process. I don't think we need any more laws to protect the tiniest humans, and I urge all officials who swear to defend the Constitution will do everything they can to stop substituting the 'legal fiction' that there's a whole group of individual human beings who aren't persons. It is NOT a waste of time to defend unalienable rights, and I have decided to withhold support from any candidate, and that includes my vote, if they don't stand tall against abortion. Yes there are many other important matters that our elected officials must deal with, but if they'll compromise on protecting unalienable right to life, I don't see any reason to imagine they won't sell out on any other matter.
If we don't speak up for them, who will? They can't speak for themselves. Peace and Love for All.
