It is a monumental task to get 100,000 signatures in less than a month---but I truly believe there are many more than 100,000 people who want to end the torture of trapping our wildlife!! WE CAN DO THIS WITH LOTS OF DILIGENCE AND SHARING!!
The petition speaks for itself, and we all know how unthinkably cruel trapping is and how much the innocent animals suffer the pangs of hell.
The rest of the civilized world, who have already banned trapping look at us and rightfully wonder how we still allow this barbaric activity from the dark ages to still exist!
100,000 is a lot of signatures---but envision all the animals that are being trapped as you read this, who will cry through the night in misery and miss their families....please help !

The unspeakable torture these animals must feel makes my stomach turn. Looking at that picture, I just want to cry. I'll get mad (again) later.
Paul Leary, no. I get upset, but that doesn't justify inflicting such cruelty to any living being. Common sense. No human being should ever feel justified in inflicting pain and suffering to anything just because we can.
Killing is one thing but torture is a whole other manner!
Traps are nothing but indiscriminate torture devices and there is NO excuse for their use!!
This is such a prehistoric practice. We know how to prevent suffering, so let's do it.

We must remember that we are human beings. We made it to the top of the food chain by eating animals they were caught and killed using various methods that include trapping.
Remember your place is above that of any animal. Animals are meant to feed us and serve us; and in a few occasions be our pets. Yes we can eat...

This is not abuse to trap an animal to kill it and eat it no matter how cute it may be. Do some people trap animals to abuse them? Yes. There is nothing we can do about that except when they are caught we can then punish those individuals.
Remember that a human's life is worth more than any animal. Eat and enjoy.
These traps are random. A hunter has a specific prey. Most are not monitored. The animal chews off a foot or rots.

This barbaric treatment of animals is unreasonable please stop this practice now a lot of these animals are very beneficial to have around can you imagine a planet without wildlife it would be so ugly and lifeless harming trapping hunting and experimenting on animals is a needless and ridiculous practice and should be done away with post haste.
