There has been another shooting last Jan. 10,
2013 in Taft High School, Taft, CA & two people were shot. I
personally believe if we put GOD back in our public schools, our kids
will be safe again... GOD will protect them again... I believe this is
the only way for violence to stop... what do you think? GOD bless :)

As long as each of us pray when we are at our schools, prayer is in the school. Teach your children to pray while they are at school, prayer is in the school. Where ever and when ever you pray, pray for our schools! " Pray without ceasing."
Hello Miss Edwina, I pray that your day has been a blessed and encourage one in the LORD. On Sept 24th 2009, on the eve of my 46th birthday. I loss my 15 year old son to a not only violent and Haynes crime. But a senseless one as well. while attending a school that he only had the privilege of attending for only 1 month. The young man who felt the need to take an innocent life did not even know my son in the least. And to make matters even worse this young man did not even belong the Campos. I a mighty woman of God, had and have raised all of my children in the admonition of the LORD. If they didn't learn anything else from me they learned how to pray. Yes prayer helps. As a matter of fact, without prayer for our schools the blood shed would intact be catastrophic. But,,,, It takes more than prayer!!!! Faith without works is dead. Its time for Gods people to use the power within. The gifts, the ability,the strength, and the courage to take a stand against the powers of darkness not allowing our LORD and Savior to be ushered back where he should have never been dismissed.
My prayer is that many of us could come together by the millions. And have a peaceful demonstration In the presents of the White house, Supreme courts. To take back what the enemy is trying to prevent. God has instilled so many things within his people. And we are not even using 1/3 of the Kingdom that's in us. Faith without works is dead. We have to get back to the basics. And no longer remain idol. Because in our doing so. innocent lives are being robbed from many of us. We have to start petitioning in behalf of our children whom God has entrusted us with. Signing and submitting petitions for our LORD and savior to be brought back to our educational system.

You have no right to claim it without granting me those same rights. So, since you Christians are usually all hard-wired with superiority complexes, that won't happen.

James...Hi, I totally get what you are saying...but with most things in life, misunderstandings will always occur..I don't particularly agree with the posting either, but what I will say, is that some of us have experienced what prayer can do...Yes you are right the world is full of evil..However, have you ever considered why so many people, write about love, the lack of, aspiring to have it, feel a lone, because they don't have it...block buster movies, and number one songs are sung,(inspired by it..) God =Love...Imagine if the government, who I believe are devoid of real love, will never be able to change a country for the better, if hate, manipulation, greed, lover of themselves..is what consumes them. Of course nothing will change...GOD DOES NOT ALLOW VIOLENCE..without explanation....The bible says, because of Man's fall in the beginning...he still continues to be influenced by the God of this world, which is Satan...God is coming back..read book of revelation...This violence was not orchestrated by God, but planned and engineered in the minds of sick individuals...Did you not know that satan is a spirit...if your thinking is influence by the sickness of fallen man...then all we are going to get is more of this...and less of God's influence, because people don't want to listen to his commandments...one being, ' thou shalt not kill', that is an obvious statement...so if you kill, after you were told not to..WHO IS TO BLAME ?...God knows the concequences of what he has commanded us not to do...But man and woman are too rebellious..that is why Satan can operate regularly in the hearts and minds of depravity in the human experience, because they ignore God and choose the God of this world...

Why would Buddhist or a Hindu religion not be considered to reach in public schools when they practice kind ideals to follow? Your worried about gun violence but the root is not faith based. It starts in the home, and how we teach our children. There have been so many horrific acts committed that were religion based or affiliated. Why did God not help them even when it was done in...

It always makes me mad when people talk about "God not being allowed in public schools." Your child is allowed to pray if they want to, but it's not going to be organized by school officials. This is all about forcing others to participate in something they don't believe in because THEY think it's better for them. Parents should make those decisions for themselves. Teach your beliefs at home and leave the public schools to teach science, math, etc.
I pray that the children can pray at school and at home. The world is in a mess but God can make it better.
