The right to a burial in a Veteran's Cemetery is promised to all Veterans as a benefit. The Veteran's Cemetery in Raleigh, NC has been full for over 10 years and Veteran's are being buried in private cemeteries because the nearest State or Federal Cemetery is a 2 hour drive from the Triangle. There are acres and acres of Federal Land in Butner, NC that is available for just this cause. We are putting a Veterans Life Center in Butner and The Governor says he wants to create jobs, this would be a great job opportunity for Veteran's to be an important part of making this a reality. This will create jobs for the creation of and in the long term as caretaker's for this Cemetery. It will also help the economy of the people in the Triangle.
