    I am not sure how many of you have heard the great news, but our voices were heard last night loud and clear. After showing damning evidence of the negative economic impact that this decision would have had on the city, one Coucilman said that he would not support this bill and requested a motion to have an emergency discharge of the bill. I would personally like to think everyone that signed and shared this petition and all of you who came out last night to show solidarity on this cause. This gives me hope that democracy can prevail when everyone joins forces and sticks together for their beliefs. Just remember that.

      I have just learned that the hearing on this bill will be held on January 22nd at 5pm. I will be taking my list of petition names to this hearing to have OUR three minutes of say.
