dogs being snached and stolen from the streets and private households....crammed as many possible into small cages...bound to travel thousands of kilometer under terrible conditionen...approx 1000 dogs a month cross border from thailand to laos /vietnam to loose their live in slaughter places and open markets...skinned/boild/burned alive clubbed slowly to death,hung openly to suffercate to death...WHY ??? ther killers want the dogs to produce "adrenalin" to tenderize their meat ....
if one of them dogs-death-trucks are stoppt they will be taken to dogshelter ...sadly there the face further suffering many arrive injured and want get enough medical treatment ...and enough food...a shelter like KHEMMERAT holds 1500 dogs ...if not for "privat donators and helpers " they all would die in a sorrow so we try to help.......have a look mission in dez 2012

    Leonard Coyne Hi All,

    As many of you know in the vicinity of 1,000 dogs have been saved during interceptions over the past several weeks. Efforts to put pressure on the smugglers is working and it appears that fewer smuggling operations are being attempted.

    As the pressure must continue it is inevitable that even more dogs rescued will need sheltering. The shelter at Nakhon Phanom is being used as a staging point (transit centre) as it is well equipped and also close to where a number of the arrests occur.

    The arrests and the dogs saved are great however the department of livestock is quickly running out of space. Soi Dog is in discussions with the DLD regarding the building of significantly larger shelter facilities at the Burriram shelter.

    The matter can be regarded very much as an emergency situation particularly in that arrests of smugglers will continue to occur.

    The expense will be considerable with 10 shelter facilities planned each at one million thai baht. (If in fact 10 are built, remains to be seen though, this would hypothetically accommodate 5,000 dogs at 500/shelter)

    Soi Dog will be doing widespread fund raising and internationally towards these costs.

    This evening I set up what is a peer (friend) to peer fund raising tool for people to use to engage their friends to provide funding.

Have a look at the attached file which shows you how to start a fund raiser once you visit the page. Razoo will then take you through it step by step and also provides capabilities to set up fund raising teams, share your fund raiser etc.

    Dear friends...please support building more runs at "Elfes World" she give home to over 300 dogs,many of them rescued from the "dog meat trade" to seperate the big from the small she needs mor fenced space...please consider givin donation to this importent cause....so she can forster more poor dogs from the overcrowdet shelter

    !! another sloughter truck was stopped...The dogs was taking again to khemmerat shelter....so many dogs there :(.......the ones arrive you can tell that most of them are nice and in good conditions ...so no stays....the must have had a owner...sad sad sad!!! So more suffering now...shertel needs absulutly mor staff...vets ...medication look at the pics,below

    HELLO dear friends....update....10 dogs that we pullt out of the "SHELTER" that were very sick ,had been treated in bankok hospitals,are now much better and will travell today to a wonderfull place in koh samui ,a LADY there will take care of them she has allready around 300 dogs in her care ...please check out her site on Fb its "Elfes World" we will need kindly sponsors to feed them monthly...is 20 euro or 25 dollars a month....please read mor on elfes site These few are lucky ...about over a 1000 dogs need more help...THX

    the end of februar2013 ...miss ulrike brunner will be joined again like in dez 2012 by some volunteers...will travell again to the "khemmerat shelter" to see the progress of the newly build quarantane station (by donations) and will make further plans for a better live of the poor dogs there...such as sun protections ,many dogs suffer skin deseases...she will also bring badly needet medical equipment to the shelter...
