This petition is to put officers in our schools to make our kids in america feel safer going to school. Since the Sandy Hook Shooting, I am sure kids are still feared to go to school, if an officer is in the school protecting the kids, I am sure that fear will go away. Our schools are supposed to be our kids "safest place" along with their home.

School should not only be a learning time for our kids, but a fun time to learn to interact with other students and teachers. They should not have to spend their day in fear. I feel a cop in school would let the kids know that the school is only using the cop for the kids' safety and that they should not fear the cop. Hopefully the kids would have a sense of peace attending school each day. They could better concentrate.
It is a horrible thought but do we need to ease thm into the poliice state.
We also need God back in our schools too. prayer is powerful lets get some likes for putting God back in our schools also.
I think that is the basis of what is wrong with our country now....God has been taken out of everything. That is what our country was originally founded on.
I am very much for this and have said and felt it was needed for a long time. into the efect that I would volunteer my services as a ex marine.

I do think having an armed guard in schools is a great idea.

This should have been done years ago. I used to be a taxi driver years ago and I take kids to school and take them home and there is police there in the mornings and afternoons but not during the day. We need police watching our schools from the time when they open until the last child goes home.
I think anything we can do to protect our children, should be done!
