Officers Carter and Curnow have been placed on paid administrative leave pending the outcome of investigations by both the Boulder Police Department and Colorado Division of Parks and Wildlife. It is our hope that both officers will be fired by the Boulder Police Department and charged in the reckless killing of Big Boy.

Breaking news out of Boulder, Colorado. District Attorney Stan Garnet just announced the two police officers that illegally killed Big Boy, the Mapleton Elk, have been arrested and charged.
They face several felony charges, including attempting to influence a public official and forgery. They also face a number of misdemeanor charges, including official misconduct.
