To: Governor Rock Scott
We want Cristian Fernandez sentence to juvenile to be commuted. Cristian Fernandez was forced into a plea deal that keeps him in juvenile until he is 19 years old. And then 8 years probation. Angela Corey and Mark Caliel wanted to give Cristian Fernandez LIFE WITHOUT PAROLE for something...

Open letter to Governor Rick ScottCristian was barely 12-years old when he was unjustly detained in Jacksonville Florida and charged as an adult by state attorney Angela Corey. It was very wrong to charge a preteen abused and neglected boy as an adult, especially when it is clear that it was the mother's negligence for not seeking medical help for over 8 hours, the real cause behind the unfortunate death of the younger brother two days later.
After spending 2 years detained, Cristian...

We have the world largest prison population, each working for $1.5 per a hour (suck on that China). It is cheaper to own a prisoner than a slave. I strongly suggest owning prisoners (buying stocks of prison corporations) specially if there is any chance of you may ending up in one in future. According to prison guards union, growing prison population is vital to our economy since it keep the national unemployment rate down and they successfully lobby for tougher laws and harsher punishments....

We already had situations prison corporations encouraging judges to send minors to jail, prosecutors been enthusiastic about institutionalizing minors (Cash for Kids). Kids are more profitable.
Donna Evans That's right, Donna. There is an article in The Sun about this.

I realize we are getting a little off topic here, but please folks, let's pass these articles on to others on FB, Twitter, MySpace, etc.
P.S. I didn't find the interview in The Sun, but it was Michelle Alexander that was being interviewed so we can read directly from her article.
If you like interviews, The Sun magazine has a new one every issue (once a month). And it is ad free. So they don't have to worry about offending their sponsors.
We send our boys over to kill. We make our money off selling weapons both here and abroad and now we have a new business: jail young men for smoking a little pot (which has a dubious history for why it is illegal, to begin with); the judges, lawyers, guards, police all get to make money while many are afraid to even jaywalk. SAD . . . but true.
Thie 12 years old boy, sure is not an criminal. He has been abuse by an adult, caring baybies is not his duty,ia an adult duty, his mother,or father.
I can't believe this. I had the same experience of saving a child who was locked up in a Juvenal cell for more than 3 years. His crime? At age 9, he was playing with a friend and the friend ended up falling on a rock leading to his death. This young boy was locked up behind bars without education and from his parents for over 3 years until I stepped in with some colleagues and we worked for his released.

If there are people in the system who themselves had problem with abuse and they could not work on themselves, and do not see what they went through themselves as being wrong, they would always think that such actions are right and would never see anything wrong with the cruel treatment of children irrespective of what the children have done.
How many children has this man sent to prison under the pretest of protecting them? Is there no law against such maltreatment of kids in the States? To some of us outside the US, when it comes to the treatment of children, it is becoming clear that the US has nothing to boast off - a country which is destroying its own young ones. You maltreat them young and later become surprise about the way they behave in their adulthood. Garbage in garbage out!
It is really weird how I read and hear news how adults get away with murder because of a well payed lawyer (and who knows what other people) and a 12 yr old is being used as an example without really studying his case. The mother should be the one to be prosecuted. Children should not be taking care of children. You brought them into this world, you take care of them! My prayers for this child that everything will come into the light and the cruel people profiting from this case will see what it's store for them in the future. I believe in a HIGHER JUSTICE.
Your absolutely right, AND SO SHOULD THE SYSTEM- ATTORNEYS, EXC. WHO ALLOWS THIS TO CONTINUE.
We want Cristian to be treated as a child not as an adult. Children should never be charged as adults especially a 12-year old abused and neglected boy.
We want the prosecutor to either drop the adult charges or send the case back to juvenile court where the case belongs. "Email State Attorney Angela Corey (ACorey@coj.net) and Assistant State Attorney Mark Caliel (MCALIEL@coj.net) and ask them to drop the misplaced and abusive adult charge against 12-year old Cristian.
She's just another power hungry BITCH! Trying to climb up the ladder on innocent peoples backs. She will get her Karma one day...
It should have never been a trial. Christian was only try to do displine the child which his mother should been there in the first place.

I am simply sickened at the cruelty of bringing criminal charges against a child of 12; what has become of human decency? are there no adults among us? no one to defend and protect a minor? May God help us reclaim the most basic natural trait of animals who tend their young until they are capable of protecting themselves. Shame, shame on child abusers.
Millie, I wish there were more people like you in this world.
That poor boy, this is a crime .this is a violation against his child rights.
There is a line that separates the accidental/unintentional killing of someone and outright cold blooded, evil murder - especially murder with torture. Unlike the boy this page is about, those two boys in the U.K. fall into the later category and I feel absolutely no sympathy for them. They not only kidnapped that poor child but also murdered him in ways so horrific it's almost unimaginable; putting him through immense misery and pain in the process. In my opinion they should never have been released.
With you 100% Ron P.!!!!!
My son was convicted of a crime at 16 and sentenced to adult prison time. he will be home soon but He should have never been sent to prison. I can't imagine how this baby feels. Give him a chance! Keeping him in the system will do more harm than good.
