Rape is up by 873% in India.  In 20 years 20% of women will have been killed in India subject to all kinds of gender specific violence!

We want to know why you won't implement the Justice Verma Committee's recommendation for the new Rape law in India?

Instead you mock the Verma report and you mock the women of India by allowing Kurien, a politician identified by a rape victim as one of 42 men who gang raped her, to chair a discussion on India's new rape law!!!!

WE DEMAND THAT YOU HONOR ALL THE RECOMMENDATION'S ON THE VERMA REPORT AS SPECIFIED (CLICK HERE)

If we want the system of law and order to respond ethically to rape and violence on women we will have to force the government of India to honor the findings and recommendations of the Verma committee for the new rape law in India!  The government is protecting rapists in government office by ignoring the Verma report!  All the more the reason, the public must force it to act!

If you are in the UK or Australia please join these efforts there to support the Indian protests against escalating rape and violence on Indian women. International pressure is very important to send the message to the government of India, that despite being sought by FDI interests, global citizens will still hold their governments accountable for who they do business with and what India's human rights records are!

Violence is not to be tolerated no matter what. I feel this is especially true in countries such as India where women are at high risk of being violated and noone to speak for them. I'm speaking out in Canada for them.

Can you please also speak for women of Occupied Kashmir, for decades Indian Army and police have used rape as an intimidation tool and have committed vicious crimes against Muslim women, but no one listen to us and the matter always gets brushed off. Please remember Kashmiri women too, they are also victims of same disrespectful culture.

Sir I would like to bring to your notice if you are not aware of the fact that crime happens in India, Its not a surprise it's by choice, existing law is sufficient for the crime but what is lacking is its execution............. so whatever changes you decide to bring in the law will never be efficient unless be it executed...............share this message if you too feel its right; else it is as it was and will always be.

togather we can do a lot to stop violence against women that must be stopped..

actually it is maybe just 5 percent of the police and we blame all police. like its less than 1% soldiers of any country who will brutalize or torture soldiers just like themselves from across the border if those fall into their hands as POWs (prisoners of war)... lets not be so bad about blaming any one profession. its completely wrong to judge people by their professions. neither are all leaders bad, nor all police, nor all men, nor all indians or pakistanis. pigeonholing people by their gender race nationality or profession is bad. coming from pune, mumbai i hear a lot from men of and even women of the northern regions of india saying that women from metropolitan cities are cheap... should i accept this rotten judgement which is their prejudice for their selves seeking permission to degrade adn judge a woman based on only her city of origin? No! So if I feel bad about people's prejudice, I won't prejudge any person by his belief system or his profession!!

Violence against women is worldwide, and must be stopped.

Everywhere women are raped and killed above all by their friends or lovers.....

Violence against women is wrong, and we should stop it NOW, before so many innocent women are taking advantage of. I wrote my first fiction novel with this in mind, to empower women and stop evil.Fire and Ice
http://www.amazon.com/dp/B007HG21ZC/ref=...
In Fire and Ice, Nancy, a naïve but resourceful, kindhearted woman, marries her high school sweetheart. As a working wife and mother, Nancy perseveres, despite having an abusive, alcoholic husband.

I suggest My Govt one formula to punish rapiest or attempt of rapiest that is very simple culprit should be in jail upto 60 years of his age or if he does such crime after fifty year of age it should be 10 years imprisoment.

The only way the world changes is if WE change it!
