Update #16
Posted by David Paine (Campaign Leader) on May 1Friends,
I wanted to address some of the comments on this page. First, this is not about taking away anyone's Second Amendment right to bear arms. I fully support the Second Amendment. I also want to assure everyone that if you signed the Sympathy Card, your name is not being used for any other petition. Here's background on what's happened to this Cause since the shooting: After we delivered the Sympathy Card to the Sandy Hook families in December, 2012, we wanted to find a way...

Update #15
Posted by David Paine (Campaign Leader) on Apr 11Your voices are being heard! This morning (4/11/13) the U.S. Senate voted 68-31, including 16 Republicans, to approve the start of debate on a key measure that would require criminal background checks for most gun sales, except those between private parties and neighbors. This is a key initial victory for those who support common sense solutions to reduce gun violence. This measure was supported by many conservative, gun-owning Senators on both sides of the aisle. The U.S. Senate is scheduled to take action on this legislation tomorrow (Thursday, 4/11/13).

THIS IS JUST ANOTHER TRICK TO GET YOU TO SIGN YOUR RIGHTS AWAY AS A CITIZEN AND GUN OWNER, LEAVE US GOD AND GUN LOVERS ALONE IF YOU DONT LIKE GUNS DONT BUY EM, PERIOD.
THOSE WE LOVEDONT GO AWAY THEY WALK BESIDE US EVERYDAY UNSEEN UNHEARD BUT ALWAYS NEAR STILL LOVED STILL MISSED AND VERY DEAR
I want to express how much I am sadden by this tragedy to a town that seemed to be so close.
People are turned down for bad credit scores and can not get insurance due to this also. I think we should have a better system on the gun issues. If you have been in jail no gun! If you are a drunk driver no gun! I am not saying if you obey the law you should be punished but if you don't you should have no rights when it comes to fire arms!!
On disabilities I think parents should be smarter!! lock them up!!
How do I get off this stupid page and unsign this sham of a "sympathy" card?? I support the second amendment and proudly own several guns. (with 'high capacity' clips!)
Julie. That was hot! Well said. That's my kind of girl. Smart. Thanks Julie. Is cool if I copy your comment and put it on my Facebook? Let Me know.
any violence against innocent people is wrong most importantly children. They are the most innocent of everyone. Any American should be honored to sign a petition of this nature.
My heart and prayers go out to the families of the victims of Sandy Hook as a christian I can assure you that they are in gods arms in heaven and also with you. I'm sorry for your loss and god bless you all forever. Robert M. Quinn
the lord wil heal all wonded
I will happily sigh a petition which favours control of murder weapons.
The constitution is outdated and needs serious revision.
You are living in 2013 not the1700's.
Times change it is time for change. Guns Kill what else are they for?
I am sure I have already signed this. :)
Gun control isn't about protection but just as it says...CONTROL
There is no CONTROL when all those defenceless teachers & kids get GUNNED down. How many times has this happened? I know what I'm talking about too. I had a really good friend shot by a jealous idiot.Once you shoot to kill in a fit of anger there is no going back, no 'Oops sorry, I was really angry, but I'm not angry now' too late mate.
My thoughts and
prayers go out to everyone. Justice will be done if not in this life then most definitely on the other side. Hugs and love
Pray for all those that have been affected. X
Remove my name immediately as I do NOT support eroding our Constitutional Rights!

First, my prayers go out to Boston. One another note, since 9/11, anyone remember that event?? Okay many terrorist cells are still living in the US. Homeland Security is out numbered. Also, everybody was focused on North Korea, leaving the US wide open for a strike. When will it end? Someone asked, until their " god " tells them to stop. They have brain washed with the wrong version of the Koran, and took it to a dark place.

I saw a picture of woman soldier hugging her daughter. Someone wrote underneath, " I wonder if she feels guilty for killing other children and women." My defense to that, as ordered, do not fire, unless fired upon, if they use their own as shields, we are forced. When will it end? I pray soon! GOOD BLESS AMERICA
How can anyone every.tell you.how.sorry.they.feel over the terrible act this person has done with something that should never been available to him exspecially by a parent who obviouslly didnt think about or ever considered the mental illness he obviously had but.pethaps she was.obviously not right in her mind either. But please beleave me so many of us out here feels for your loss and the many tears so many of us have shed for your loss can ever imagine with my own children what you.all have.been through and go through every day but I pray.God be with all of you and prayers will be cont.spoken to help you get through each.and.evety day and that the love sent your way helps to give you strength.
You as a.gun owner have to have the common sense it takes to own a gun or you should not have one maybe its time to go back to not.only doing background checks but banning adsault rifels unnesscesary to the person living next door to you and me.Come on and maybe a mental illness evaluation on anyone who wants anything that can takr anothers life should be considered.I am a gun owner and was when my children eere young but was aware.of them being able to be harmed by my weaponso was respinsible enough to keep ammo away from pistol at same time when i wasnt out shooting targets without the kids I also sold my pistol when they were at an age and gangs were prevalent until they became adults and moved out on their own.to me it eas not worth having in my home and taking the chance even if i trusted my children who were very.aware of the danger and what a gun can do permenently. My son is a police officer acctually. Are they worth.having assault rifels on our streets available to anyone!Never!!!
My prayers go out to the victims of the Boston tragedy. My hope is that God have mercy on the soul of the perpetrator/s of this malicious crime; and that the families of those who were harmed or passed find God as the center for comfort and strength!
Love, thoughts and prayers are with you all.........God bless and keep....Jeff and Doreen
There are every bad peopl out here in that world they so pit away jail time and prayers out to every family god bless them
