Strong Tower Ministry has been helping men and women re-integrate into society for the past three years in Denver, CO. We provide a safe, inviting place for them to come and receive assistance, guidance, computer help, and a path ahead.
In 2012, we saw 837 new men and women come through our office doors and over 5,400 individual sign-ins were registered. We provided over 130 backpacks, 265 hygiene kits, 6800 bus trips, 9 bikes, and 200 monthly bus passes.
We also try to provide them with a new community. We have a meeting on Thursday evenings that 40-50 men and women attend. We spend time singing, sharing testimonies, praying, eating, and in small groups. This provides them with a support network to keep them from going back in. According to our records, this ministry has cut the recidivism rate in half for those who join this program.

If we do it because we intend to punish those who have hurt, offended us, then we are doing God's duty but if we do it in love then we give God an opportunity to do His will. @ Selena, how about starting one in Arizona?
