    The current laws in Ohio are not aggressive in stopping the abuse on Animals. Animals have no voice, they can not speak up or even remove themselves from an abusive situation so it is up to us to help change this. The offender of these crimes is usually handed down a simple court fine with no severe punishment to hold the person accountable. Animals are living, breathing creations of God and harming them should be a felony offense.

    By signing this petition, it will become clear to the lawmakers that this behavior will no longer be tolerated and a change must be made. I believe with harsher punishments, the number of abused animals will decline.

      Ohio's laws on abusing animals, is equal to a traffic ticket. A simple court fine and THAT IS IT!!!! Even if they kill the animal/pet. HELP ME IN BRINGING AWARENESS TO A SO IMPORTANT CAUSE.
